Default Numb right hand

Hello! I'm new to the forum and a new Ducati owner. Just picked up my Multistrada Touring in White in June. Love, love, love this bike!!!

One problem, though, is that my right hand goes numb after a while. I'm taking a 12 day jaunt in September (3,000 plus miles) and would like to figure something out before then. Anyone else experience this and have any suggestions?

Congrats. I'm still waiting on my Red Touring S...in a week or so more, I'm told.

Since you've had the bike for a while you should be accustomed to it but like with sportbikes, the more you hold yourself up with your stomach muscles instead of leaning on your wristes, the more comfortable you'll be. Short of the above, the next step would be a change of grips with a bit more padding, like gel grips. What is the easiest (and cheapest) way to see if padded grips will help is to get some "grip puppies". These are a foam "over grip" that will give you more padding. They'll obviously make the grip diameter a bit larger but try the small ones. Heated grips will also work with these. Try 'em...cheap experiment.

You can get 'em here:

Hi Ang,

I have a Throttlemeister on mine. They are local in Butler, WI. It will definitely help you on your upcoming "iron butt jaunt." Wow is all I got to say bout your upcoming ride.

Thanks for information, all! I'm glad to see I have some choices in the matter. I'll let you know how my selection works out.
