Default Blueant F4 or Chatterbox XBi

I read the review on the BlueAnt from FlightMedic and it sounds like a really nice system. Does anyone have the Chatterbox? Can you compare the two? The price difference is negligible so it comes down to performance.

My primary use for it would be Rider to Rider comms and possible phone calls.

Thanks for any info you can give.

i had the chatterbox xbi2 and took it back. the microphone was too big, the speakers not loud enough, and i had trouble with my iphone losing connection during music play.

Hands down the Blue Ant F4. I've tried the Chatterbox and the Scala, both suck.

The F4 is the best I've ever used, completely reliable, speakers are very loud and clear. You have to turn it down, even on a Ducati. Microphone tucks away nicely, without obstruction, and yes mine works flawlessly with my Blackberry.

Here's the review, and if you scroll about 3/4 of the page down, you will find the video review.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Check out the Sena Bluetooth. My hubby and I just picked up a set and are very impressed. Easy install and use, clear sound, able to run music, take/make phone calls, and of course rider to rider communication. I don't have experience with the other brands, so I can't speak much for comparison, but am really happy with the Senas. www.SenaBluetooth.com

Blueant +1........My wife and i have a set. Its an older model and i think the range from bike to bike is now further with the F4. Works fantastic. Bike to bike coms ( voice activated) voice dial. Everyone ive talked to on a call doesnt know im riding. Its clear as a bell.

used the crap out of this thing as well. So I can tell you that after an extensive stress test of speed, heat (it was 103 today on FT HooD), and recharges every day. It works like the first day I got it and is still located exactly where I mounted it.
