Default Did you mod your bike?

If so, did you do it all at once?

Did you do rounds of mods?

Is there a common set of mods everyone does?

I did slip ons and a 14T....

curious how much everyone hits the go-fast/mod crack pipe

I do all my own wrenching/Modding since the nearest dealership is over 250 miles away. I Mod by system. Brakes, Clutch, Engine, Exhaust, etc.

Louis - I'm in Allen and work in Plano off 121 and tollway. We should get together sometime.

As for me, just got the bike and I'm prioritizing the mods that improve the ride for me

So far:

Slave cylinder (clutch was harder compared to my old CBR 929)
Dubble bubble windshield (Wind was hitting me awkwardly during street riding)
Speedy moto triple clamp (add a little height to the bars)
Suspension (springs - I'm a little bigger than others here)
14t changeout

Next will be rear sets and then full exhausts

After that, some carbon fiber - just because I like the way it looks. Lol

Default my mods

I am not as hard core as others, and I can say that my mods are common.
Tank pads
HID lights
License Plate Eliminator kit
Carbon side panels
Carbon rear hugger
Clutch pressure plate, pressure plate screws and springs, and open clutch cover
Steering damper (mine did not come with ohlins)
Termis Slip-on kit with DP ECU
K&N air filter
Hidden frame slider and fork slider
PUIG screen
PAZZO levers
Adjustable rearsets
Wheel tapes
D3 Grips
Rizoma bar ends

Next:
Ohlins Fork front and back
Zeus fairing screws
Clutch slave
Some more cabon parts

It's like getting tattoos, you just keep putting more mods. Good luck and have fun.

i did rounds of mods first then bought bits and pieces when I needed a fix. LOL. first things first got the go fast parts and got the ergos right. then the carbon! Lots and lots of carbon!

first mod full termi and ecu, slipper clutch, billet clutch cover, and rearsets.
second round swapped out the showa forks and shock for ohlins, flip up levers, anodized brake, clutch, and fuel cap

third round carro forged wheels, quick release sprocket, carbon front and rear fender, air runner covers, guage cover, and both heat shields.

then recently driven grips, and bar ends.

next on the list is frame plugs, cf key guard, cf engine cover, and tidy tail.

they should really have a support group for us!

I did the mods on my 848 as they became available. Being a new model I had to wait for some things.

like the most in here I have done my mods in steps after reading a lot on DS but doing em yourself is
lots of fun but more important is it helps you to understand your bike better...at least it works for me..

I did most of my mods at the dealer. Got me a pretty good deal on parts and labor. Here is what I added so far.

Termi slip ons
Dyno tune
Underbody Frame sliders
Axel sliders
Double bubble windscreen

My at home mods:
Lightech Rearsets
