The theme for this year's event is Emozione nel Movimento! ... Italian for Emotion in Motion! Co-presented by; NOR CAL DUCATI DOC, Ducati North America, Motion Pro, Nichols Sportbike Service, Ducati Monster Forum, Ducati Vintage Club, Lindemann Engineering, Federico Minoli and Doc Wong. La Ducati Day 2008 will offer attendees a full day of: -Federico Minoli sponsored Riders for Health Auction -Ducati Vintage Club sponsored Concorso Ducati -Motion Pro sponsored Ducati Garage Challenge and Slow Ride Competition -Leo Vince USA sponsored Ducati Music Challenge -Lindemann Engineering sponsored Sportbike Suspension Setup Clinic -vendor court, food, raffles and more Ducati North America will also be bringing the Duc Truck this year to offer demo rides and hospitaltiy. Don't miss your chance to get in the saddle of your dream bike! Free event admission. All proceeds from entry fees, sportbike suspension setup clinic and raffles will benefit the La Honda Fire Brigade. These are the good men and women that rescue us when we crash on that side of the mountain ... helping them helps all of us. We hope you will make the ride up into La Honda, situated in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains, and help us rename the city La Ducati for the day of the event. New for this year, the Ducatii sponsored Riders for Health Auction. Ducati has graciously donated many ultra cool items that Federico Minoli collected over the yearsi, and will auction them off to benefit Riders for Health. Check back often, as we will update the site with added sponsors, details on events, list auction items and raffle prizes, and generally fill in more data as it becomes available. Details: Monsterous Arrival 2008 Nothing like a big ole line of monsters heading to La Ducati Day in La Honda. We'll arrive in force. If you did this last year, you know it's a blast. Below are the meet-up spots. If others want to arrange other meet-up points to head to Alice's PM me or post up. We'll see you at Alice's and then at LDD. NOTE: THIS WILL BE AT PARADE LAP PACE. This is NOT a group ride pace. We're going to stay near the speed limit. With a large group and a lot of unknown riders and with lots of Police out there, we're just trying to keep it safe and to keep a large group together. The point is to get from A to B safely, not to get your twisties fix for the day. Do your "normal" ride before or after. Again, it's parade lap pace, more like a procession than an actual ride. ALICE's MEET-UP: Arrive at Alice's at 11:15. Leave Alice's (35 & 84) at 11:30 for LDD. That'll get us to LDD in time for the Dainese fashion show at noon. SF Pre-Meet. A group will be leaving from Zeitgeist in SF. Meet at 10:15. Kickstands up at 10:30. We will leave your ass behind if you're later than 10:30. P.S. Bring your friends, non-Monster or non-Ducs.
